“Good” is a narrative which attempts to tackle the complexities of what depression can look like. We are taken through Maya’s mind, of her thoughts and various experiences with depression, as she grapples with how to appropriately express these experiences. Through this narrative, the audience is reminded of how difficult and awkward it can be for those who experience mental health struggles to have these conversations with the people they love the most.

“Good” is a page ripped out of my diary. It is a look at how I’ve treated myself not just as a person but as an artist, at my own tango with depression for the last seven years. Good is for me, for the person who is tired of waiting around until I feel better to make something worthy of watching. Good is for you, for the one wanting so badly to cry out for help but scared of burdening the world with our feelings. Good is for all of us, because sometimes the courage to speak doesn’t come unless someone else talks first.
