Hi! I’m Ruzelle. I am a Guåhan-grown filmmaker, with credits ranging from short narrative films to feature length documentaries. I have spent many years supporting and creating spaces for current and aspiring filmmakers to produce their own content (usually through the Guam Int’l Film Fest). My biggest motivations for creating films are to elevate Guåhan’s language and culture, effect social change and provoke thoughtful conversations in my community. I believe in the power of storytelling through motion picture and I am dedicating my life to proving that power.
